NMAT, popularly known as NMIMS Management Aptitude Test (NMAT), was earlier administered and held by Narsee Monjee Institutes of Management Studies (NMIMS). Since 2015, NMAT was acquired by Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC). Now the exam is known as NMAT by GMAC. NMAT exam is a gateway to over 22 management schools across India including XIM Bhubneshwar and VIT Vellore. The entrance exam is taken by candidates who wish to pursue management programmes including MBA and PGDM at premier B-schools in India.
