On the raw stats, this Deloitte consultant is a superstar. He boasts a 3.95 undergraduate grade point average from UCLA and a 770 GMAT score that puts him in the 99th percentile of all test takers. Translation: He is in the top 1% of everyone who has taken the GMAT exam.

His target MBA programs include Harvard, Wharton, MIT Sloan, Columbia, and UC-Berkeley Haas. He plans to return to Deloitte once he graduates with his MBA, with an eventual goal of working in his family’s business in Taiwan. The business specializes in tech equipment distribution and implementation and employs 400 people.
